Shocking Footage of Women Abused on the Porn Set (a California workplace)

Shocking Footage "Viewer Discretion Is Advised"

This video has footage the porn industry doesn't want you to see. Women are abused, screaming, crying, raped and in pain on the porn set (a California workplace). No woman should have to go to work only to return home beaten and traumatized.

There are state and federal safety and health laws to protect workers in the workplace. There are ALSO federal sex trafficking laws to protect women.

The Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (TVPA) defines "severe forms of human trafficking" as:

The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion.

Human trafficking crimes, which are also defined in US Code Title 18, Chapter 77, focus on the act of compelling or coercing a person's labor, services, or commercial sex acts. The coercion can be subtle or overt, physical or psychological, but it must be used to coerce a victim into performing labor, services, or commercial sex acts.

And we, a group of former porn actresses, can prove it! We have hours and hours of countless video of women who are coerced and intimidated by males, verbally and physically abused, offered alcohol and drugs, raped and forced into commercial sex acts by agents, porn directors, porn producers, performers and pimps.

We also have our testimonies and we are NOT AFRAID to testify before Congress, DOJ, US Supreme Court, California State Capitol, LA City Council, LA County Board of Supervisors, courts of law and in fact we already have and we will again very soon. No matter how much the porn industry threatens, harasses or tries to defame us, we will not retreat.

And neither will our true friends and supporters. Please help us and support us in this fight against sex trafficking and illegal pornography at www.thepinkcross.org

Porn is sex trafficking, and these women in the video are its victims. If properly identified, investigated and prosecuted, the traffickers in these examples face 15 years minimum mandatory imprisonment and up to a life term in federal prison.

This video and more is being distributed to primary federal law enforcement agencies, attorneys, Congressional staff, DOJ, anti-sex trafficking organizations, women's rights groups and government agencies and more at local, state and national levels.

Comments:

The sad thing is, if they do indeed bring their case to a court of law, the judge may likely view them as less than human simply because of their job & tell them the same thing some of the brainless comments have said: "You should have known the risks."

Sorry but if porn is to exist as an industry - & I doubt its consumers would want it to shut down - staff welfare should be a priority. Women should "know the risks" in terms of possible STDs but abuse? Not right, no matter what the job is.

I have a dream, one day any kind of porn will be criminalised in every country.

MrJuanda1403 1 day ago

That's heartbreaking for me as a guy to watch this, but seriously those porn actors/actresses should think before they react. I'm not siding anyone though, but in the first place you shouldn't have agreed to enter the pornography industry. Yeah I know they earn big bucks, but in the end you will end up with nothing. They probably get infected with STDs, Gonorrhea, etc then they realise they made a BIG MISTAKE by the time it's too late.

Peace <3 FireBladez25 1 day ago @FireBladez25 Sure, they should know the risks in terms of possible STDs but if porn is to exist as an industry - & I doubt its consumers would want it to shut down - it should work like any other industry & actually do something about staff welfare. No matter what your job is, you shouldn't be forced to do what you don't want to. Yes, it's porn, so naturally, risks should include STDs. But abuse? Not right, no matter what industry you work in. ctti 23 hours ago @82607492 Their lying - they DON'T love it you fucking whoremonger scumbag TheShel8777 1 day ago The women are stupid and mentally messed up in the first place doing porn- don't make it worse by supporting the shit- unless your a fucking mindless scumbag jerk off whoremonger drone- that thinks porn is ok. That you have no opinion of your own what's so ever? TheAttava 2 days ago @TheAttava I have opinion of my own. I think that abuses like those displayed in the video should not happen and that everything should be done to prevent them short of banning porn.Porn itself is not the problem. mijav2 2 days ago @mijav2 So you're telling me that you've watched this video and all you can do is argue about how porn is not bad? You want us all to know how deep is your need of denial? TheAttava 2 days ago @TheAttava I'm sorry if I gave the impression that it's easy. I don't think its easy, but I think its doable. I'm arguing with people that worked in the porn industry? Who? I don't have any "need of denial". I don't think porn should be banned. I think there is no need and I think it wouldn't work anyway. And yeah, I don't think porn is by definition bad. No denial, only personal freedom to film or watch it. Otherwise I support any and all sensible regulation that would prevent abuses. mijav2 2 days ago @mijav2 Alright. What you imagine the third world country basement studios would be doing is already happening in your country. Regulations already exist to some extent, yet are ignored and broken. The industry is the problem, people behind it. Of what i see in this video, many of them should go to jail. TheAttava 2 days ago @TheAttava I completely agree, there should be harsher regulation. Its something I have supported from the beginning. But there is no solution to this. There will always be abuses, what we need to do is work towards this goal. Going at it all-or-nothing style, won't do anything. mijav2 2 days ago @mijav2 Like i said, a teenager style. No matter what i say you will go back to your -porn is not bad- story. Nobody cares. TheAttava 2 days ago @mijav2 You know porn is not hollywood movie, what you see is really happening to someone. TheAttava 2 days ago @TheAttava Nobody cares? You care obviously. Yes, porn is not bad. Yes, there is abuse. Yes, abuse is bad. Yes, there are people trying to prevent it - good. And most of mainstream porn is bad. But no, porn it self is not "bad". "most of girls are to drugged to oppose" Untrue - "most" doesn't really mean anything and its implying that "most" women in porn are drug addicts. PyreeDa1 3 days ago

They are not sluts, they are human beings. Calling women sluts is a way of dehumanising them so that you can justify watching them being abused and tortured for your sexual pleasure. Only someone who doesn't really think women are human beings, can think it's hilarious and pathetic that they want some basic human rights. I'm not going to come back to this thread because I don't want to engage with someone who doesn't see me, my mother (or his own) or my daughter as real human beings.

And it is no different from prostitution on the streets that the persons well being is not respected. I know this because I work with people who have been working in the sex industri, and I know exactly what im talking about. Prostitution, porn or human traffincing is all the same, just in different wrapping. And its all about gaining money of sex and sexual incounters, weather the person who have to do it likes it or not, thats called sexual abuse.

TheKristel86 3 days ago 2

Porn is prostitution on video and that person has to live with it the rest of her life that everyone has seen this video and it still remains. Porn directors are those who get money from that persons sex acts just like pimps get money for his prostitudes sex acts, therefore are porn directors pimps, just in another more acceptible way in our society.

TheKristel86 3 days ago

You all who are saying that, porn is a choice, well its in very many cases not a choice. Porn is prostitution (no offence) and like prostitudes who have a pimp can't easly quit wehn they whant like in any other buisness. Most of those women need money, and porn directors, pimps and other people manipulate these situation whith those women. They may be threatened, abused, and violeated to keep working and not quitting.

In 30 years you would think that there would be no porn industry after everything hyped about HIV/AIDS. It appears that Drugs & Alcoholism caused Suicide to be the leading cause of death among porn stars. Homicide number 2.

There's no argument in favour of porn industry, it's false industry, founded on false premises and distroying lives and relationship. These girls could have teachers, nurses and even in a low skilled job, bring who're hardly justify porn...common sense should prevail

God I can't believe there are still idiots arguing on YouTube.

txroye 3 days ago

Don't like it? Then don't do it.

txroye 3 days ago

@txroye 'Don't like it, don't do it' is not a valid argument for this. Upon watching this video, who exactly do you think it is that would 'like' this sort of treatment? The point here is, if you have chosen to work in porn, but don't like being abused in your workplace, work to change the industry, so someone else's daughter or sister or girlfriend doesn't have to be the one subjected to this sort of stuff, if they, too, chose to act in porn.

cheesepleaseisall 3 days ago

Porn is highly likely to attract actors, male and female, who are emotionally and psychologically unstable and those who abuse substances. What that means is that women who have 'happily' worked in porn for years can reach sudden breaking points, where what they did last week without blinking an eyelid can suddenly feel like rape or abuse a week later. So how on earth do you monitor that and create a truly safe environment for everyone? Not really possible, to my mind.

Lakkhesis1976 3 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 You are wrong on your first claim that all porno actors are unstable. They are not. Its a silly statement.

mijav2 3 days ago

@mijav2 Did I say 'all porno actors are unstable'? NO. I said it is highly likely to attract those who are. It's right there.

Lakkhesis1976 3 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 You are right. You said highly likely which is still an insult to people working in porn.

mijav2 3 days ago

@mijav2 Bullshit. Lets get real about this. It would be rare to find someone, particularly a woman, who was willing to publically do these acts with strangers to be filmed and distributed for sale, especially for the long term, who was entirely 'together'. Even people IN porn would tell you that. If you can't see that, you're both niave and ignorant.

My point is that when you have people fucking each other for money, you have an industry that is difficult to moderate and keep safe.

Lakkhesis1976 3 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 Well I disagree. There are many people in porn industry who like doing what they do. Even people IN porn would tell you that. If you can't see that, you're both niave and ignorant.

Im not sure this industry would be any harder to "moderate" than any other. I think it would be easier in fact since its a very specific product.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 I never said there aren't people who like their jobs in porn. That's a completely separate issue from the one I'm talking about, which is a likelihood of a higher ratio of people with emotional problems, mental health issues and substance abuse issues. I'd be willing to put money on this being statistically true. Of course it'd be harder to moderate this industry- emotion runs high, potentially, when you have people fucking each other for a job. Psychologically stable or not.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976

Well you said that people working in porn are "highly likely" to be unstable. Which I find very insulting.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 AGAIN, no. I said that the porn industry is highly likely to attract people who are emotionally and psychologically unstable.

Why on earth would you find this insulting?

Instability, mental illness and substance abuse aren't insults, they're states of being. I believe that there are *some* people who would enjoy having staged sex on camera as a job, some who would get off on it and truly enjoy their jobs whilst remaining mentally and emotionally healthy. But just SOME.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 You are implying that people in porn business are unstable.

And I disagree. I think the industry is to blame for the abuses (since this abuse is very rare in for instance gay and lesbian pron, feminist porn, ...). And also that it could be relatively easy to regulate, if you introduce certain standards and allow sales only to only companies that comply.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 Oh, shuuuuuut uuuuuuuuup... We're actually on the same page here, you're just misreading everything I write for the sake of being an advocate.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 We are not completely on the same page. You said that porn attracts unstable people and I think that the non regulated industry does that to many of them.

You said that the industry cant be regulated and I think it can. Maybe these are details, but I like to discuss about details more than doing what users seeking911 and 23BigDrew do.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 NO, AGAIN. I said it's highly likely to attract unstable people. AGAIN, you have intentionally misread what I've written for the sake of advocacy.

I can't imagine how you could propose to successfully regulate an emotionally charged industry in a sustainable way. I can imagine that things are emotionally safer in the gay/lesbian/feminist porn industries as you have stated, but heterosexual porn without a feminist bent has an entirely different dynamic.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 So you aren't saying that "porn attracts unstable people", you are saying that "its highly likely to attract unstable people"? I'm sorry I don't understand the difference.

You think it can't be regulated? If you have arguments in favour, please. Saying they have a different dynamic doesnt say anything.

Im saying its possible and many people are working on that for a long time. It will never erase the abuses, like in any other industry.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 Whether the unstable people last in porn is one issue of many. And whether they could be identified in the workplace as unstable is another.

How could you possibly even attempt to regulate, moderate or make safe an industry based on performing sexual acts under direction and targeted at a heterosexual male audience. This is an industry where an 'atm', for example, might be OK for one girl and not another, or ok for the same girl one day/with one partner but not the next.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 Im not arguing who lasts or who can be identified as unstable or not. Im just saying that porn does not attract unstable people. I think that is offensive.

Regulating can be based on grading companies that produce it and following complaints etc

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 Sorry, but I'm finding this frustrating and quite boring. I'm not sure why you feel the need to affirm that the vast majority of people in porn thoroughly enjoy their work, as well as enjoying sound psychological health. If that's the case, so be it. But I wholeheartedly believe that you're wrong, especially when it comes to women acting in porn targeted at heterosexual men.

I'm not going to reply to anymore of your comments, because you consistently misinterpret what I'm saying.

Lakkhesis1976 2 days ago

@Lakkhesis1976 Well I think misinterpretation is a problem on your side. I never said that most women in porn thoroughly enjoy their work.

You are the one who said that they are highly likely to be unstable, not me. Oh sorry, you actually said that people attracted to porn are highly likely to be unstable. Which is a big difference, right?

I think that is insulting, because this statistics that you made up from the top of your head, is a broad generalization and nothing more.

TheAttava 2 days ago

@TheAttava I don't think it is easy. Not at all. But this is the right way to do it. Not ban stuff, but educate and prepare a space where abuses like these are less likely to happen. And that is possible.

mijav2 2 days ago

@mijav2 Yes you do. You talk like it's all the easiest thing in the world. You talk like you know anything while arguing with people who lived through porn industry and are trying to tell you thruth about it.

TheAttava 2 days ago

@mijav2 Again. Denial. There's a lot of stuff happening behind the industry that noone talks about. It should go down. Nobody is interested in your personal choices here.

TheAttava 2 days ago

@TheAttava Well you are interested. Otherwise you wouldn't respond. And it's not denial in any shape or form. And it won't make it so, even if you repeat yourself indefinitely. Like I said, even if you go to a practical level of banning porn, it doesn't work. Making porn illegal will only make the abuses worse. Imagine all the market that will be open for all kinds of third world country basement studios.

hate to go against the general stream and be accused of being a rapist or whatever but this is just one account. What have all the other porn actors and actresses have to say? By all means regulate, it seems 'porn industry' can refer to any eejit with a camera; that said, there are many different porn companies and groups and this woman's experience may not be representative of them all. In addition, not all porn stars do stuff they are uncomfortable with, would that be fair?

stubility 4 days ago

@stubility thats besides the point, the point is that in an industry, regardless of its social connotations, all businesses and companies should follow the proper laws and regulations. People on here are arguing about whether these women deserve this treatment when really thats never going to get anywhere, its a subjective matter. However not all companies follow laws and regulations thereby endangering and abusing their "employees".

12201185234 4 days ago

@12201185234 so you like to watch porn, but you suggest that female porn stars, instead of 'whoring themselves out' should get a job at McDonalds? The reason that these women 'whore themselves out' is because men that consume porn, like you, create the demand for them to do so in the first place. As for most porn not looking like that, do you not think they'd edit out the parts where she's shouting and crying because she's in pain?

cheesepleaseisall 3 days ago

@cheesepleaseisall There is, always has been, and always will be a demand for prostitutes on your local street corner... As well as a demand for drugs... there is a movement towards ethical porn. maybe it is possible to find a way for people to get their needs met in healthy ways... respectful of everyone involved.

This seems to be what the woman speaking is suggesting - that the laws that apply to other workplaces should also apply to the porn industry.

This video was hard to watch, but I think it is important that people become aware of these things. Similar kinds of abuse occurs in many places, but in porn in seems to be quite bad.

MIchaelGoguen 4 days ago

What I saw and heard is very horrible, but also lets not forget that these women and men are NOT being forced to be porn stars they are making the choice to be in this industry they could just as easily go to community college or work any other safe job. I am not picking side's just felt this should be brought up too.

ghunny1 4 days ago 9

@ghunny1 I think you need to rewatch Shelley's testimony so that you better understand how people get into the industry in the first place. There is no "easily going to community college" because bills have to get paid, and "any other safe job" isn't paying them a lot of the time. There are root issues each woman and man has to address that ultimately go beyond their choice of workplace.

elvaquerito22 4 days ago

@ghunny1 sex traficking is the act of transporing women from their homes to other place forcibly to make porn or prostitute. this is not a choice for many of these women. theyre threatened with death and the killing of their families if they dont comply, and those guys usually arent kidding.

gaddjodilo 4 days ago

@ghunny1 While you are in it, this does not sound like there is much choice. During any sexual activity, consent can be withdrawn, and legally this makes it rape from that moment on. This means these women calling to "stop" because they are "hurting", are being raped. This is a crime, making all the people engaging in sexual activity or standing around criminals. Needless to say, this is not like any other job, not in compliance with laws incl. labor laws (your employer has to

chriscross2603 4 days ago 3

@ghunny1 reasonably protect you from harm, let alone crimes). Not to forget what may in part be filmed from criminal activity (violence or drug abuse on the job) is then commercially utilized, which also is illegal. So there is a lot that is wrong, and a lot that defies choice as you seem to imply once the people are in it. I highly doubt the interview warns applicants they will be subjected to considerable pain, also.

Look Shel, the porn defenders are already here telling me I won't have a man in my life but that won't deter me! These porn defenders are figuratively and literally sick.

@GirlonFilm1969 looking at the stats on porn usage you are suggesting that a huge majority of men are completely evil and unworthy of female companionship due to something that they watch as a consumer (not participate in). While your at it, why not stop dating men who drive chevy's due to the number of fatal accidents with a chevy involved (due to driver mistake rather than car issues).

Just saying... one does not cause the other.

@lvmonkey77 you fucknut. Did you not hear what I said? SHOW ME the statement where I suggest all men or a majority of men watch porn. If you can't show me that then you're a liar. LOL. Not dating a person due to a car. Wow, you're ridiculous.Listen dummy, I SAID I will not date a man who uses porn. My life, my choice. You can take issue with that with another 10 comments but it's my damned choice and my damned life.

@denishusicic guess so right? that's mighty fine by me. I can always date women right?

GirlonFilm1969 4 days ago

@denishusicic Actually, there are a lot of healthy guys out there, worth the while other than the pitiful bunch including you.

@GirlonFilm1969 You are 100% right! I don't date any guys who watch porn! I am disgusted by women and men who do porn or watch this degrading, manipulative shit which destroys love, intimacy and women's dignity.

@NibelungenSaga that's awesome! Women can take control of one thing, their own lives. If we refuse to date men who view this we take our power. We know what porn is. We know what it does to people. We know how it's made. We know the pain involved. We can choose to say NO to consuming it. Think of it this way: no demand, no more porn. Women have a huge role to play in caring for others when it comes to this twisted industry. We can refuse to date those who consume it.

GirlonFilm1969 4 days ago

@GirlonFilm1969 If you want to stop porn, stop fucking for money.

It's not the users of porn who are twisted, it's the women like the bitch in the video who think porn is an easy ride, so they join up and find out they don't like it. So then they claim they're 'raped' or 'abused'. Nope, they're just stupid.

The porn industry won't close down for you or any other deluded woman who thinks they can make the difference in something that they know nothing about, so deal with it.

@GirlonFilm1969 if every woman did not take a man who watches porn then men would have to stop doing it and if all women would say no to porn movies then they could not produce images of women and girls being broken, humiliated and violated on the most possible ways. It is all brainwashing for both men and women. I don't understand why the governments turn a blind eye on the obvious abuse of human rights.

Wtf who are you? They chose to make porn, they weren't forced. I bet you watch porn too go away.

tragic and disgusting

What did it for me was the 0:50 mark. The next 10 seconds after that REALLY made me feel bad for this girl. This doesn't look fake to me at all. VERY tragic.

Women really don't deserve porn abuse or just porn. But if they participate in it, then they are scared for life.

JaSchAirbourne 4 days ago 3

This is just the tip of the iceberg folks. We have more footage most of it is even worse. We have hours of footage and proof and evidence. This is the reality of porn not the fantasy and it needs to stop NOW!

@jennicase agreed!

@EyeLickChildren I would say that it is possible, given the glamourisation of the industry and the often repeated "It's SO empowering!" statement.

She may have stayed on the sets for several reasons - one of which being that she probably got addicted to the drugs that she mentioned and needed the money to fund her habit.

Why wouldn't she be angry about what happened to her? I would be, especially if I saw it continuing to happen.
